Does this strike you as a little humourless and heavy-handed? (Although I acknowledge that the hands of the RIAA are obviously made of lead) I wish culturejammers would use ridicule more - defusing, rather than "resisting" authority.
Posted by: jean at December 15, 2003 12:33 AMConsidering recent RIAA lawsuits against kids & co. I'm not sure about the heavy-handedness involved here, but I agree that ridicule, mockery, etc should be used more and that to "defuse"/"deflate" is indeed a powerful act.
